Imam Asim Khan discusses the constantly shifting nature of the human heart and the vital importance of seeking Allah's help to remain firm on the straight path. Learn about a powerful, frequent supplication of the Prophet ﷺ and how it can protect your faith from modern temptations.

In this short spiritual reminder, Imam Asim Khan discusses the importance of seeking Allah’s help to keep our faith firm. He explains that the Arabic word for heart, qalb, is derived from a root meaning "to flip" or "to turn," reflecting the heart's naturally unstable and swaying nature. In an age where social media feeds are often filled with content that pulls believers away from the remembrance of Allah, our hearts remain fragile and under constant attack from worldly temptations. Imam Khan emphasizes that true success on the Day of Judgment depends solely on meeting Allah with a "Sound Heart"—one that is pure, submissive, and free from internal diseases like arrogance, vanity, and jealousy. To achieve this steadfastness, we are encouraged to pray with true presence and regularly recite the Prophet’s ﷺ frequent supplication: "O Turner of Hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion".
"Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like the one who did it."
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
